Question: HI ! I need guidance as to what point of time during the ceremony we should have an illustrative dance done. It is a christian wedding and has always been custom of our faith to incorporate a moment of worship in a wedding. My original plan was to have the dancers (2) do their worship/praise performance right before we say our vows, however the minister has suggested it be done prior to the start of the ceremony. I'm fine with his suggestion, BUT I think the music for the illustrative dance will clash with the prelude music. ( Prelude~seating of mothers~praise dance~ Procession~entrance of bride. The praise dance song is contemporary christian but the ceremony / wedding music is traditional soft music. What do you recommend? The song chosen for the praise dance is very important to us and very meaningful and we don't want to change this selection.
