Subject: I am making my son's wedding c
Question: I am making my son's wedding cake using Rich's bettercream frosting. Tried to put a satin ribbon around base today after cake sat at room temperature for a full day. Ribbon absorbed grease from frosting in 3 hours. How can I decorate this cake on Friday and leave it in place until Saturday reception? I do have access to a walk in cooler. How will the cake do if I refrigerate it from Thursday until Saturday and then take it out in the morning, fully decorated. I will go crazy if I have to do all Saturday morning before ceremony. My tears will not be tears of joy but exhaustion!
