QUESTION

Subject: My husband Shawn and I are alr
Question: My husband Shawn and I are already married, but we did not have an actual wedding, we "eloped" because I was pregnant. I also have 2 children from a previous marriage, that are 12 and 9. They will be standing up with us. Everything was going smoothly until we got to who the flower girl would be. I said his cousin's daughter should be the flower girl, and he said his sister's daughter should be the flower girl. I don't have any little girls on my side of the family that could take this position. My problem with his neice being the flower girl is this...his sister just got married in October, in Shawn's family there are 3 girls and then Shawn. Everybody played a part in his sisters wedding EXCEPT for anybody in our family (we have 3 children). So Shawn, myself, or any of our 3 kids were not asked to be in her wedding, but his other sisters and their kids were. I just don't feel like I should have to pick his niece to be my flower girl. Am I being spiteful? Should I just go ahead and let him have his pick? Do I have to have a flower girl, I was maybe thinking of having our 2 year old son and 2 year old nephew walk down before me blowing bubbles...I don't know what to do...and it's stressing me out and causing Shawn and I to fight...please help!!!!
