QUESTION

Subject: Dear Sir or Madam: I want to
Question: Dear Sir or Madam: I want to order wedding invitations, but I have a somewhat unique problem. My son and daughter-in-law were married in a private ceremony in Hawaii in December, but will have a large reception at her home (in Budapest, Hungary!) in July. I know they can create and order a combination announcement/invitation for such an occasion. However, they wish to send “save the date” cards now (and a specific invitation later) so that people can save the date and begin to plan a trip to Hungary. I know that typical save the date cards are for a wedding invitation. Can they create a combination wedding announcement and save the date card? Would this be polite? Awkward? Wordy? Thanks for any help you can give me. Patti Maillett
