Subject: My step mother started to help
Question: My step mother started to help me plan my wedding and said they would pay for the majority of it. It was suppose to be a small intimate destination wedding in New York, where I have lived and her family is still. I didn’t have a problem with her family being invited, but then she started inviting other people; people from Illinois, where we all live now. They planned a shopping trip to N.Y. the year before and it got canceled. Her friend asked if she can invite her self to my wedding and my step mother said “yes, I was going to invite you anyways”. When I said no my step mother stopped talking to me and my dad turned on me. My question is who’s in the right?
