Subject: My daughter and her fiance` ar
Question: My daughter and her fiance` are bi-coastal at present. Three quarters of the guest list are his family (east coast) and the rest hers(west coast). They are thinking a Carribean Island Wedding is what they want. I am very very uncomfortable asking our family and guests to save, take off work, and travel 12-17 hours for this event. Many family members (elderly and retired) will feel they "have to". We are paying for the wedding, and I want the couple to be happy but I can't get past this first hurdle. Any suggestions?
