QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: My 94-year-old friend recently received two wedding invitations: one from the children of a distant niece and one from the children of her neighbors. She doesn't even know either bride and groom. Is it appropriate for her to simply send a card wishing each new couple well? OR Is she obligated to send a gift? If a gift is required, how much is appropriate for her to spend on a gift or to send as cash to people she doesn't even know? Thank you.
