Question: My husband and I raised our stepchildren since they were 4yr old. They saw their mother regularly but I was the one who was always there for the stepkids (doctors, school, etc) My question is my stepdaugher is getting married and though her mom and I have been both involved, when it comes to the seating in the church, I see most of the time it is said that the mother and stepfather sit in front of father and stepmother. Since it was her dad and I that did all the main childraising is it wrong to want her dad and I in the front pew? If her mother and stepdad don't want to all sit together? Again if we do sit in same pew, I would like to have dad and I on outside and mother & stepdad beside us. Is that wrong of us to want that?
