QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: My son is engaged, and they have started planning their wedding. They have a tiny budget. The groom's father and I have offered some funds and to do the rehearsal dinner; the bride's parents have offered a little more than than we have. It appears to me that they are not thinking about budgeting money so that they can get the most for their dollar - they plan to have the wedding at a rather expensive location that does not provide anything besidea a nice lawn by the ocean. The location is using up mor than half of their budget. Would it be3 appropriate for me to contact the mother of the bride and discuss financign of the wedding? or should i just keep my nose out of it and wait until I'm asked? I have dreamed of my son's wedding day, too. I never imagined it would be like this! Help
