QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: I am getting married and my soon-to-be sister in law sent an email to the groom stating that she hates me and will not let her kids be the flower girl/ring bearer anymore. I don't trust her and don't want her at my wedding now. She now decides she wants to come because she wants to be in the family picture. She won't let her husband(one of the groomsmen) come to the wedding unless she is allowed to go. The brother in law/ groomsmen won't come if she can't come because he doesn't want to be in the dog house. The groom really, really wants his brother to be in the wedding. I really, really don't trust the sister in law to not make a scene at the wedding. I want as stress-free a day as possible and if she is there then I will be super stressed. Now the groom and I are fighting. He wants his brother there, and I don't want the sister-in-law there! What can we do? We both feel that each person has a valid case, and we both love each other and want the other to be happy. As we see it, one of us will be unhappy. What should we do?
