Question: Is it poor etiquette to not have my stepmom escorted? My mom raised me, and Stepmom had very little to do with me growing up, and still today ignores me for most of the year. We don't even speak unless my dad is around. We're polite, but not close. I just find it wierd to have her escorted as if she's a "mom" even though I've known her since I was 10. I am including her in other ways(corsage, photos) but am very uncomfotable with having her seated as a "mother" which she is not. I also feel like its a slap in the face to my mom who pretty much raised me by herself. I don't feel she should have to share this with my stepmom.
