QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: My youngest daughter is getting married. When my oldest daughter got married, exhusband's wife ruined her wedding. She made a big scene about how she was a "mother" too, threw a fit in front of everyone cause she wasn't included in all the photos, ect. It was apparent that the wedding wasn't about my daughter but all about the stepmom feeling honored. With my youngest daughter getting married is it okay to limit this woman's involvement? I don't want her to ruin my youngest's wedding like she did with my oldest daughter's. My oldest daughter still holds some bitter feelings cause of the stepmom's behavior at her wedding 2 years ago. Basically I get the feeling that unless I step aside so she can be the mom, then stepmom will get offended.
