QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: We want to have my mother become ordained online and perform our ceremony. We live in NJ, our ceremony is on Long Island, NY. Do we follow the state laws for getting ordained for the state that our ceremony is in, or the state that we live in? And how do you find out exactly the steps to take in order for it to be legal, proper, etc, for my mom to perform the ceremony. I have heard that the paperwork, etc, is different in NYC than it is on Long ISland. How would I find all this out? Thank you.
