Question: My son is getting married and his future wife has already planned and booked the rehersal dinner without talking to us(grooms parents) about where this was going to take place. We are a bit taken back on the fact that traditionally the grooms parents host or pay for the rehersal dinner. Usually the place is discussed and chosen by the grooms parents. Is this still the followed ediquette. We do not want to approach our son yet without some guidance.
