QUESTION
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Subject:
Question: How do I word my invitations ?? My fiance and I both have children from previous marriages, would it be silly or improper to have the children be the hosts instead of our parents, i know that our parents would not be listed either way... but what is the correct way to include the children in our day, and on our invitation? they are F 13 M 9, & 3? Also, my x mother in law and I are close,as well as x sister in law, I was the maid of honor in my x sister in laws wedding, even after my x husand had re married and his new wife was at the wedding .. and i recieved an invitation to my x mother in laws wedding that will take place one month before mine... My new fiance finds my relationship with x in laws to be odd, and we are only inviting our immediate families to the wedding, BUT my x in laws already know that i'm getting re married and i feel as though they will be offended if i do not invite them, i would like to have them there, but it is a day for my new husband and family, and i don't want to mess that up or add drama ?!?! what to do?
