Response: Hello, I can only give you a general answer without knowing where you live. Coordinators charge differently depending on where you live. In some areas, such as where I live, we charge a flat fee. In other areas, coordinators charge a percentage of your budget.
It is possible that you will be charged more because you are trying to do things at the last minute. The coordinator will have to pull off the other jobs she is currently working on and devote her time exclusively to your wedding. Normally, we start 6 months or more before a wedding and hire all of the merchants early on. I am guessing that if your wedding is in 29 days, it is probably over Memorial Week-end. If so, you may have difficulty finding a coordinator that isnt already booked on this popular week-end.
Be prepared to spend quite a bit of time locating those merchants that arent already booked, and you may have to compromise on quality as well, since the better merchants will already be booked.
