Response: Having more than one maid/matron of honor is a recent tradition. There are no rules for this situation. Instead, the bride divides up the duties of the position between the two people. If the matron of honor enters first, then you will stand next to your sister, since the attendants enter beginning with the one who will stand the greatest distance away from the bride and ending with the one who will stand next to her.
Your sister should choose one of you to sign the marriage license and one to give a toast, as well as the one who will stand nearest her. She may have other duties as well for each of you to help with.
