Response: You might begin by contacting the chamber of commerce in Hershey. You can probably find a listing of members on their web site under 'business directory' or a similar heading. You might also look for web sites of coordinators in the area. Because anyone can create a web site, you will need to seek references from the people you might be interested in hiring and then check them. When I am asked for references, I give half current or former clients and half business owners that are involved in the wedding industry, such as photogrpahers, caterers, and DJs. Those are the people that see the coordinator behind the scenes and at more than one event. They often have a different perspective than clients.
Dont assume that price equals quality. Many coordinators go out of business because they assume they can get rich at your expense so they set their fees very high. A high fee can be a sign of experience or it can be a sign of a 'newby.'
