RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Michael, There are numerous ways to have a lovely wedding on a budget. For instance, having the wedding in the daytime rather than the evening will save money because you dont need to serve as much food nor do people dance much in the daytime. You might have a mocktail reception and serve non-alcoholic beverages and light hors doeuvres and wedding cake. Hire a pianist or a harpist to play for the ceremony and to play background music during the reception. If you want alcohol, have a champagne toast. Dont provide seating for everyone. Instead, have some tables and chairs for the older guests and have tall bistro tables for other guests who can stand yet have a place for a plate and glass. This type of reception is a bit different and guests usually love it.

Alcohol is usually the number 1 budget breaker followed by an expensive location. Dont compromise on your photos, because at the end of the day you will have your photos and your memories.
