RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Terri, Whether the time will work depends on how long the ceremony will be. Assuming it is about a half hour, then guests would arrive at the reception center about 3:45. That would be the appropriate time for the reception to begin. If the bride and groom choose to take pictures between the ceremony and reception, they should keep it short. They should plan on having beverages and appetizers available when the guests arrive at the reception location. Guests will then wait about a half hour, but not much more, for the couple to arrive. That would place the reception starting no later than 4:30.

One thing to consider is that, unless most of the guests are coming from out of town, when there is a 45 minute drive between the locations of the ceremony and reception, some of the guests will skip either the ceremony or the reception rather than driving for that long.
