RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Nancy, Will the ceremony begin at 4 p.m. or the reception? If the ceremony begins at 4 p.m. then the reception will go into the dinner hour. Serving heavy hors ddoeuvres will be okay as long as you serve plenty of them, particularly if you plan to serve alcohol. If you serve a limited amount of food, guests will leave sooner than they would if you serve enough to keep them from becoming hungry. I have had numerous clients who served a variety of heavy hors doeuvres and added a salad and made it a meal.
