RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Carol-Ann, You will want to place the word 'Correction' at the top of the card in large enough font for guests to be aware that they are receiving new information, not a follow-up to the invitation. Then state the date and time and new location of the reception. You can begin by saying something like, 'Due to circumstances beyond our control, the location.....'

Invariably there will be one or two guests who will forget about the change or who wont read the card. Therefore, if it is appropriate for the circumstances, you may need to place a sign on the door of the original location or, if someone will be there, inform them of the new location so they can direct wayward guests.
