RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hi Kendall, If your future sister-in-law likes the dresses, then it is fine for the bridesmaids to wear them, plus it will save money. The guests wont know or care.

I had a bride a couple of years ago who broke her first engagement three years before. When she got married, she liked her previous choices so well that she wore the original gown and we held the wedding at the same location we had planned to use 3 years before. I would say your future MIL is very comfortable with her choices and probably has good taste.
