Response: A Wedding Day Director will provide services for the day of the wedding only, showing up for the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Generally when using a Wedding Day Director, the bride is responsible for making all the arrangements with the vendors, then the Director pulls everything together on the day of the event. Many churches, temples and synagogues have Wedding Day Directors on their staff who will direct the rehearsal and ceremony.
The Bridal Consultant is an advisor some people interchange the title 'Consultant' and 'Coordinator', however, there is a subtle differance. The consultant advises the couple of all the things they need to do prior to the wedding, often a Consultant will recommend vendors to the couple. A Consultant does not attend the ceremony or reception.
A Wedding Coordinator helps the couple plan and coordinate all the major and/or minor details for the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and honeymoon. The Coordinator attends the rehearsal, ceremony and reception.
