RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Elizabeth, You do not need to include your step-sister in your wedding. You can begin by not talking about the wedding around your step-mother, or talking about it as little as possible. Go ahead and choose the people who will be in the wedding party. If your step-mother asks, you can tell her that you have plenty of close relatives and friends to fill the various roles. If she really wants her daughter included, then ask her to be the guest book attendant or to do a reading. Those are positions that can be easily filled if she refuses to participate.
