RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Carol, Take your cue from your step-daughter. Both she and her mother have made it clear that they dont need or want help, so it would be best to honor that. Let them know you are available if and when they need anything then let it go. You might be surprised as the wedding day draws near and they realize all the details, they may ask you to do something. If not, be gracious and supportive of your husband as father of the bride. Dont do or say anything you might later regret. No one at the wedding will consider you to be an outsider, so dont worry about it.
