RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Brenda, Your daughters boy friend was thoughtful to ask for your blessing. So many men today have stopped doing that, and it can make a big difference in his relationship with the parents. I would wait until the couple returns then make plans for the two families to meet. From an etiquette perspective, the grooms parents should initiate contact, but today so few people know that. Therefore, if they havent contacted you within a couple of weeks of the couples return, you might want to contact them and get together.
