RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Hello Donna, It is quite common for the bride to have a male attendant and the groom to have a female attendant, but it is a bit unusual to have an entirely female wedding party, though there is nothing wrong with it. It is your wedding and as long as things are done tastefully, you can do whatever you want.

Have you considered making your brother and one or two more men ushers? If you dont have separate ushers, then the ladies standing on the grooms side would seat guests. By adding the men in some capacity, your parents might be less upset. You should plan on one usher for every 50 guests, but you can have more.
