RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: If the pastor or his church do not recommend an amount, then give a donation based on the amount of time that the pastor has spent on the couples behalf. For instance, if he performed pre-marital counseling, attended the rehearsal and the wedding, give more than you would if he only met the couple once then showed up on the wedding day. If the wedding is not being held at his/her church, be sure to give an amount that is adequate to cover the cost of gasoline for travel to and from the ceremony location.
