RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Your father is manipulating you. If you want your step-father to walk with you, and you have already asked him, it would be very insensitive to 'unask' him. If he were a groomsman or a bridesmaid it would be a breach of etiquette to ask them to step down. Why not show the same consideration for your step-father? Though your father is upset now, he may get over it before the wedding. If you stand your ground, and he does get the honor of actually presenting you for marriage, he may change his mind.
