Response: Immediately after the wedding you send announcements to family and friends. The announcements can be sent by your parents or by you and your groom. If your parents send them, they would say:
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe
are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter
your name
and
grooms name
On November 1, 2005 in Anytown, USA
That is all you need to say. If you are moving to a new city immediately after the marriage a line can be added that says: They will make their home at address.
If you and your groom announce the marriage, the announcement will begin with your names rather than your parents names.
