RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Only if he wants to. Today, it doesnt matter who pays for the flowers, food, music, etc. The bride and groom are ultimately responsible for all of the costs of the wedding. How they want to divide up the costs is up to them.

It creates bookkeeping problems for the florist if one person pays for part of an order and another person pays for part of it. Therefore, one person should pay for the entire flower order, not pieces and parts. Some florists provide a bill for the entire wedding needs, not broken down by the individual items. They would have to go back and refigure the bill and then be sure that all of it is paid for before they make delivery. Then you get into the issues of who is responsible for the delivery fee or should that be divided up as well - you get the idea.
