RESPONSE
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Response: I feel very bad for you... but I dont agree with the other response that photographers who work out of their homes are unprofessional. With the high overhead cost of running a retail location I prefer to work from home. This makes me available almost anytime for my clients, they know where I live so they can trust I wont be skipping the country with their money, and I can pass on the savings of overhead to my client. With that being said Ive also seen some very very bad photographers that are located in a retail space as well. So in conclusion if the quality of the work stands out, their references check out, and they dont have any bad marks with the BBB than go for it! I feel for you in your case, but this photographer screwed up... she should have left enough time to make it to her destination in time for the ceremony, if she had car trouble she shouldve taken a cab... whatever it takes! You deserve some compensation!
