RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Whether you give a tip or a gift will depend on how much the officiant charges. Some of them charge one fee for weddings held at their church and a higher fee for weddings held outside the church when they have to travel. It is possible that the fee that you paid is more than adequate, particularly when the person spent no time with you before the wedding to even allow you to choose the ceremony wording and style. She should have met with you at least once and preferably twice before the wedding so that you and she were in complete agreement with what you wanted.
