Response: If you send a check before the wedding, address it to the bride using her maiden name and no title. If you take it to the wedding or send it afterwards, you can make it out to Mr. or Mrs. Jon Brown. That way it takes only one signature to deposit it. When money is involved, the bride wont care whether you used the wrong name. You cant be expected to know what she plans to do about her name until you hear it announced at the wedding.
