RESPONSE
From: Russell
Response: Hi Christina,
Although its not a faux pas per se to ask for no gifts, some guests may feel a bit taken aback by the printed request - they may have been planning to get you something or may have purchased a gift already. Its really best to allow them to decide whether or not to give a gift. That said - if you feel strongly about putting 'no gifts' on your invites, you can - although it may be better to spread the word through close family members of friends that you prefer not to receive wedding gifts.
