RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: If the favors are the only element related to firefighting that you are incorporating, then there is little to be creative with. If you plan to add other touches related to firefighting, then you can have fun with the idea. I assume that either you or the groom is a firefighter. Would either of you have access to an old fire truck that you could use to leave either the ceremony or the reception? If you cant find an old one, a new one would work.

You could use firefigher helmets or other items as part of the centerpieces. You can also have firefighting items incorporated into the decor of the cake or on the cake table. You might even have a firefighters ax under the cake table that you pull out as if you are going to use it to cut the cake. That sort of thing makes for great photos.

You might have the DJ play some songs related to fire. There are many things that you can do if you have the right items available to use.
