RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: You can do whatever you want for your reception, from having a casual drop-in event to a dinner and dance. It depends on your budget. If you have the reception at or near a meal time, you will need to serve a buffet or heavy hors doeuvres. If you have it in the afternoon or after the dinner hour, you can serve less. Right now, dessert receptions, where you serve a variety of mini bite-sized desserts and perhaps have a chocolate fountain, are very popular. A dessert reception also costs less than serving other types of food.
