RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: A gift of some type is expected whenever you attend a wedding. However, when it is a destination wedding, it is not a good idea to take a gift with you because of Customs and the extra weight and space, etc. A gift is usually sent to the couples home either before the wedding or shortly afterward.

It doesnt have to be an expensive or elaborate gift. One that is creative and thoughtful will be more meaningful. For instance, you might take pictures at the wedding and create a nice album that includes not only the wedding but activities that occurred in the days preceding the wedding and after the wedding. The couple will be thrilled to have the memories, particularly if they were not aware of some of the things that occurred.
