RESPONSE
From: Wedding Palace Visitor
Response: Hi Sandy:
I can feel for you. You dont say what your relationship is with your stepdaughter -- hopefully it is a good one. How do you act? You act like a stepmother of the bride. It will be difficult because this is now YOUR house, not your husbands ex-wifes home, but let the mother of the bride do her thing. Extend to your stepdaughter any help that she make need, but that is about all you can do. If you have a good relationship with her, hopefully she will put you in charge of something so that you are not totally left out. Believe me, I have learned from experience, to keep your mouth shut -- its the best way especially with all of the blended families these days. Act cordially at all of the pre-wedding parties and put on a smile -- its all you can do. Good luck!
