RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Gifts should not be mentioned in a wedding invitation. This includes enclosing registry information. The socially acceptable way to make their wishes known is for the couple to not register, then when people ask about gifts, they can verbally tell them that they would prefer to receive money or gift cards. They can also inform parents and the wedding party so that they can also share the information, but only when asked.
