RESPONSE
From: Linker
Response: Everything Glenna said is true! This is not just her opinion! It is considered very tacky and rude to mention money on an invitation; or even gifts for that matter!
Even though most guests give a gift of some kind, it is not supposed to be the reason you are inviting them to the wedding. So, word of mouth, no registry, and if you get a gift you dont want, most stores will give you a gift card in the amount to spend later when you do need something!
