RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Im not quite sure what you mean by helping with a wedding
rehearsal. Are you the maid of honor who will
be assisting the bride? Im a wedding coordinator
and I have found that the best thing to do is
to decide ahead of time exactly what you want
to happen: what order you want people to walk
in, where they are to stand, how the unity side
candles will be lighted, etc. Then write it
out and give a copy to the minister, photographer,
and musicians and the church coordinator if
there is one. Otherwise, there will be too many
people all telling you what they think you
should do and things become very stressful. By
thinking through things ahead of time, you
can tell people that this is the way it will be.
Your rehearsal will be much shorter than if
everything has to be planned at the last minute.
