RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: There is a difference between a bridal consultant
and a bridal coordinator. You will work with several
consultants when planning your wedding, but
with only one coordinator. Consultants work
for florists, caterers, decorators, and other
businesses. They consult with you about your
wedding needs as they relate to their specific
business. For instance, a bridal consultant
who works for a caterer will consult with you
about your food needs, but he or she will not
help you choose a wedding dress.
A coordinator, on the other hand, can help you
with all aspects of the planning of your
wedding. They know the local merchants, so
they can steer you to the best choices for the
location you have chosen and your budget. Then,
she will be there to supervise the rehearsal
and to coordinate the activities on your wedding day.
A coordinator can generally save you more than
the cost of their services by helping you make
the right decisions.
