RESPONSE
From: Tooman
Response: Im not sure what you mean by 'what goes in
an invitation.' Are you thinking of the wording
of the invitation? If so, your invitations
studio owner/manager can help with that. If
you are thinking of what goes in the envelope,
you will have the following: the invitation inside
an inner envelope if you choose a design that
has an inner envelope. If you are having a
catered reception, you should also include a
response card and envelope unless you use a
post card-style response card. Many couples
also include a map to the ceremony location
and information for out-of-towners on where
rooms have been blocked. Never, ever include
a list of registries or any reference to gifts.
An invitation is a request to join you in
celebrating a special day in your life; it is
never about gifts.
