Response: When you say 'motif' are you thinking of a color for a wedding? If so, silver is used frequently, but usually as an accent color with another brighter, more vibrant color, such as red, pink, blue, or purple, which is the primary wedding color. If you want silver to be the primary color, then the bridesmaids would wear silver dresses and you would choose a bright, vibrant color or colors for bouquets, centerpieces, and other accents. Silver by itself tends to fade into the background, but with the addition of complimentary colors, it looks lovely.
